Hubba Bubba Watermelon Berry Sangria
Make your favourite gum into an adult drink!
A fellow Sipologist made a new cocktail with a Sipology Host Exclusive Tea! She didn't have any white or rose wine for this one, so she improvised! Here's the recipe:
Ingredients
- 2 pot Scoops of Watermelon 🍉 Berry Sangria
- 1 cup hot water
- 3 cups cold water
- 1-1/2 cups of local still mead (honey 🍯 wine)
- 1/3 cup of local brandy
- 1/3 cup of good Bourbon
- a cup of ice
- Optional: serve with berries.
Directions
- Add the Watermelon Berry Sangria Tea to the Teacanter, add 1 cup of hot water.
- Steep 5 minutes
- Add 3 cups of cold water, 1-1/2 cups of local still mead (honey 🍯 wine), 1/3 cup of local brandy, and 1/3 cup of good Bourbon.
- Add a cup of ice and serve with berries.
I have heard this tastes like Hubba Bubba Bubble Gum, I am still sober and have not tried this myself. I would really love if you could share your feedback if you try it!
Pro tip: glass and hot water are tricky! When adding hot or boiling water to your Teacanter make sure the glass is not super cold first. This will cause cracking and breaking. Try giving your Teacanter a little warm water bath before making this recipe or steep the tea in a mug first and add together.
